Even though it has been a long time, I finally got Photoshop! Well Photoshop CS2, so I'm still quite far behind everyone else. Yesterday, I played around with it a little trying to remember what everything does. The last time I used Photoshop was in my Computer Graphics class back in my senior year of high school. I plan on using it of course, so you guys will probably start seeing stuff from there.
Graduate Student with problems
I just graduated from college and I've been doing absolutely nothing since then. I do plan on applying for teaching positions, so who knows by time the new school year starts I'll be a teacher... well... a teach assistant. I don't have any teaching experience, but if I want to end up teaching English in Japan then I might as well start gaining experience in the field now, right? I mean I'm an English major with a minor in East Asian Studies. So an English teacher teaching in an East Asian country sounds about right. However, I want to do more than just teach. I want to be able to write whenever I want. I'm still having major writing block iss
OC for my novel
it's finally here! I finally got, at least, all the female characters for my novels Ruka-shi and Ruka-shi the sequel down on paper. Now all i need is to draw the male characters and i'm done with all of the characters for my two books. (then i'll have to work on the third one, but i probably won't introduce any new characters). but anyway, look forward to it guys!! ^.^

I used to use photoshop for my paintings and lineart, but then I shifted to PaintTool Sai. Its much more resource friendly (of course I'm using CS6 and she's a big momma resource hog for some reason) and I've fallen in love with the linework tool and pressure simulator. Also, the brushes are much better optimized and don't lag nearly as hard. Give it a try while you're at it.
Given, I do still use Photoshop for render effects and such for post-painting effects because its render effects are very well done, but that's really it.
